All Zero Paints dry matt and require clearcoating unless otherwise specifiedApplication Notes :Zero Paints are pre-thinned for Airbrush use. Shake container until paint is thoroughly mixed. Spray at 15 - 40 psi,3 - 4 medium cross coats are recommended. Air drying at 20°C Dust-free: 5 – 10 mins, Tack-free: 20 - 30 mins. For additional thinning use Basecoat Thinners. Which Airbrush Cleaner should I use ?You can use either use Zero Paints Airbrush Cleaner or Basecoat Thinners, alternatively any thinners that contain Toluene should work, but it's best to test first. DO NOT use White Spirt or Acrylic Thinners, they are not suitable. |

Clearcoat Lacquer 30ml - Pre-thinned ready for Airbrushing
30ml of 1K High Quality Pre-thinned Clearcoat Lacquer
Instructions for use :
Leave the basecoat colour for 15/30 minutes before applying clearcoat, then apply 1 mist (tack) coat, after 5/10 mins you can apply further coats (we recommended a minimum of 2 single coats allowing 5-10 mins between each), if required you can build up multiple layer to suit your required level of gloss/shine
Air Drying Times at 20ºC,
Dust Dry : 30-40 mins
Touch Dry : 4 Hrs
Full Hardness : 24 Hours,
Thoroughly Dry : 48 Hours. Can be polished after 48 hours at 20ºC
**Do not use over waterbased colour coats
Shelf Life : at least 2 years if stored in tightly closed original containers at cool temperatures.
Decals : So far we have found that the pre-thinned clearcoat is safe over all major brands of Decals like, Tamiya, Fujimi, Aoshima, Studio 27, Cartograf, Scale Motorsport etc. but please test on cheaper inkjet printed decals first
Always apply light mist coats over decals NEVER go straight on with wet coats, this could melt the decals
